Under Privileged Daycare
AVF started the daycare program (approved by the Government) during the year 2023 in the trust building. This program enables underprivileged women who need support in terms of quality, substitute care for their young children while they are at work.The need is much greater for those women who work in non-organised sector.With the help of this facility the women equip and empower themselves financially and the family at large.
Education
AVF believes education is the prime factor to increase the social standard of the weaker section. From the year 2023 AVF has been involved itself in various initiatives for the improvement of education among communities. Educational awareness campaigns are conducted for the general public through periodic meetings. Meritorious students are awarded prizes ranging from gold coins to cash certificates every year. To encourage them to excel and perform better in their learning and career. Senior Secondary, Higher secondary and College students are chosen and rewarded.
Women Empowerment
AVF inaugurated Women’s Tailoring Training Center in the year 2023. AVF provides free training in tailoring to the women in the neighborhood. The activities are to teach the women on the skills and techniques of tailoring, designing and dress making. The sole objective is to benefit the lower income housewives to become a full-fledged person in tailoring and enable them to start their own tailoring unit and thereby augment their income and improve upon their social status. We have a lady trainer, who is well versed in tailoring of all sorts. The common women and young adolescent girls are benefited at large. Below is the summary of trainee benefited year on year.
Environment Awareness
Environment Awareness Social Service trust works aggressively in creating awareness about environmental issues. In view of wide range of environmental problems faced by southern suburban areas, the committee members of the trust has laid concrete action plans in resolving the issues and generating greater awareness among the public at large.
Welfare
AVF also involves in issues related to residents of the nearby areas. AVF fights for getting the basic infrastructure facilities in its area of functioning. E.g. Better Roads, Water, Electricity and Transport. At present Post Office, Civil Supply Office, Day Care, Tailoring Center and Family Counseling Centers are functioning in the premises of AVF.
AVF organizes free Medical camps and health awareness programs for the betterment of the residents in the area of functioning.
Sports and Arts competitions are conducted by AVF to bring out hidden talents of the kids.
